ENCHANTED FOREST

This project was all about atmosphere and adventure, a journey into a fairy tale forest where a gingerbread house provided the VIP lounge and bar. We brought real trees into the space and these were fixed between the floor and the ceiling. Bird houses were fixed to the tree trunks and tiny speakers with different bird calls were fitted inside. The effect was mesmerising as you stood in the space and heard woodpeckers, blackbirds and owls around you in stereo. Lighting effects were used to replicate the shadows moving through the branches, and a wall of projected forest made the space come alive. A living wall of ferns, tree trunk drinks tables and translucent forest graphics on the windows created a beautiful calming and intimate feeling. At the end of the forest we built a gingerbread house tiled with real sweets and over 1000 resin cast Jammie Dodgers. Custard Cream and Bourbon Biscuit cushions and Jelly Babies along the dado rail finished the VIP lounge off with a sense of fun while the slick contemporary furniture kept it stylish and chic.
